Betty reaches artrageous
heights

Beatriz O. Valdez
grew up
in Cuidad Acuña, Mexico, a city bordering the Rio Grande River
and Del Rio Texas. Betty graduated from the Universidad
Autonoma de Coahuila, Saltillo Mexico, with a BFA in art
history. Her studies included restoration projects of
historical murals in and around the state capitol city of
Saltillo Mexico.

Betty’s
professional career began in 1994 in the United States when
she became an Art teacher at a Catholic elementary school in
Laredo, Texas until 2001. After fulfilling her interest in
teaching she decided to start doing what she really loved and
that was to paint Murals and Faux Finishes. |

Betty took a course to brush up in the
latest techniques. She attended the Studio of the
internationally acclaimed atelier of decorative painting and
faux finishing Mr. Nicola Vigini of Vigini Studios in San
Antonio, Texas

Betty started to do
small projects for friends and family. Soon after, she gained
the confidence to market her talent to custom home builders
and the general public. Betty immediately began received
projects including the 2002 Laredo Parade of Homes, in
which she was recognized for her awesome designs and details
never before used in this scale.
Betty’s easy-going
personality and desire to please is what keeps her client base
growing and coming back.

She supplies each of her
clients with a free estimate and rough sketch at their first meeting
and before any painting takes place they are given a final estimate.
She believes in up from pricing and completing a job when and only
when the client is completely satisfied.
